Sandoz, Inc. is the latest company to fall in an ongoing series of litigation surrounding fraudulent manipulation of Medicaid’s Average Wholesale Price by pharmaceutical companies.

Sandoz lost the case filed against it in Mississippi State Court.  Judge Zebert found that Sandoz had violated the state’s Consumer Protection Act and had committed Common Law Fraud.  Sandoz was ordered to pay Mississippi $38.2 million.
