Richard J. Dircks is a partner at Getnick & Getnick LLP. Mr. Dircks, who has been with the firm since 1998, is actively involved in all aspects of the firm’s dedicated anti-fraud litigation and business integrity practice.
Mr. Dircks has experience representing individuals, businesses, and government entities in a variety of areas, including fraud investigation and litigation, Federal False Claims Act qui tam litigation, corporate monitoring/Independent Private Sector Inspector General (IPSIG) projects, and business litigation in both federal and state courts.
Prior to joining Getnick & Getnick LLP, Mr. Dircks served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable James M. Ideman of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Mr. Dircks received his B.S. from Cornell University, his J. D. from the University of Southern California Law School, and his M.B.A. from the Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University. He is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Dircks is a member of the International Association of Independent Private Sector Inspectors General, the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
